    Job Spec
    CAE Parc Aviation are presently accepting applications for an Engines Records Specialist for our Technical Services Provider (TSP) team based in Canada. The successful candidate should be based in Canada and is able to work remotely from home. The TSP team provides specialized aircraft engines technical services to Lessors and Airlines, facilitating a streamlined transition of aviation engines assets from one lease to another.

    Key Requirements
  • Liaise with airlines during the Engine lease delivery/redelivery phase to ensure compliance with Technical Records requirements. Resolve any discrepancies related to engine documentation.
  • Creation of marketing support document (MSD) package which is provided to potential lessee's and buyers.
  • Check for latest updates for C-Check revisions, engine manuals and ETOPS revision, engine stand manuals, and update reports accordingly.
  • Review and update master templates with any new AD's and SB's.
  • Assist engineering in the creation and updating of workscopes for engine redeliveries and shop inductions.
  • Continually update engine return from lease (RFL) spreadsheets with technical & statistical lease return & shop visit data.
  • Provide weekly updates on the redelivery status in meetings and through reports.
  • Creation of Pre-SV packs to be provided to MROs prior to shop visit inductions.
  • Record compliance of critical SB's across the wide engine fleet and provide a monthly report
  • Optimum engine configuration Definition as required to best meet market needs.
  • Support in the compilation of Operational KPI's of key suppliers.
  • Monitor and analyze program metrics for Compliance and TAT for monthly reporting to key shareholders.
  • Coordinate with MROs & Vendors to obtain and address maintenance records and data.
  • Assist in the review of the documentation standard for parts and LLPs to ensure market leading best practise.
  • Perform on the job training as and when required.
    • Additional Requirements
  • Minimum of 5 years work experience in aircraft engine technical records, experience with aircraft lease transition, records reviews and familiarity with engine specific criteria is favourable.
  • Bachelors degree in a technical field or Licensed Aircraft Engineer or an equivalent qualification or competency.
  • Competent with IT applications (MS Office, Adobe, Cloud storage, OEM Fleet Applications)
  • Good communicator (verbal and written) across organizations and with customers.
  • Performance driven, Flexible and adaptable.
  • Pro-active approach to achieving customer satisfaction and driving change.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally onsite or to meet customers.
