    Miix AnalyticsTM Inc. is looking for an exceptional Project Analyst to join the business in a Contract role, from June 2024 through August 2024. The intent is for this opportunity to lead to a future full-time role on the team with a target start date of September 2024. This contract is full time hours, Mon-Fri weekly.

    The Project Analyst role will provide a key learning opportunity in the discipline of Marketing Mix Modeling, including data ingestion, data coding (in R/Python), data harmonization, data transformation, modeling, analysis, dashboard reporting, and slide reporting. This position will report to a Manager on the team, with access to the CEO for the additional opportunity of business and career coaching. This is NOT a hybrid position. Analysts are required to work onsite at the office four days per week (Mon, Tue, Thu, Fri), and Wednesdays from home once initial training is complete.

    • Strong time management and workload management with a proven track record of meeting delivery timelines
    • Growth mindset and self-starter attitude
    • Curious about applying data and analytics to solve business problems
    • Interest in consumer-facing marketing strategy, i.e. how is consumer behavior affected by a product advertisement, the effectiveness of advertising on new/emerging platforms (e.g. AVOD, TikTok, etc).
    • Strong oral and written communication

    REQUIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS:

    • Proficient in Python or R Programming Language and using libraries such as NumPy, Pandas, Seaborn and/or Matplotlib (there is a Python test as part of the recruitment process)
    • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel including working application of functions such as pivot tables, sumifs and vlookups
    • Experience with creating Custom Dashboards/Data Visualizations is a plus (i.e. Looker, Tableau, PowerBI)

    ADDITIONAL TECHNICAL SKILLS (not required):

    • Knowledge of regression methodologies (i.e. Bayesian, Linear, etc)
    • Knowledge of additional programming languages (Javascript, SQL, Julia, C++, etc.)

    CANDIDATE PROFILE:

    • Completed Undergraduate degree or Diploma Program in Business, Commerce, or Analytics
    • Co-op / Internship experience an asset
    • Experience with Case Studies (in course or extra-curricular)
    • Must be located in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) in Canada, with the ability to work from our office full-time, located at 1179 King St. West, Liberty Village, Toronto.

    COMPENSATION:

    • Hourly, paid bi-monthly
