- Plan and perform initial and periodic training.
- Maintain training records of all employees in accordance with the rules and regulations of the Airport Authority.
- Revise and update training needs.
- Maintain and report on agreed key performance indicators (KPIs) and perform quality assurance function as required.
- Develop training materials and establish training programs according to standards.
- Prepare reviews and progress reports for initial and recurrent training programs.
- Prepare and complete assessments for all passenger service employees.
- Knowledge and understanding of the current collective agreement.
- Ensure compliance with all Swissport's corporate and airline safety and security procedures to meet/exceed regulatory standards.
- Maintain good relations with customers and airport authorities,
- Provide support to front-line staff and management and resolve issues promptly.
- Ensure workforce adherence to company policies and procedures,
- Administer new hires, recalls, terminations, and changes via Dayforce system.
- Conduct investigations on irregularities, accidents, complaints as per reporting requirements.
- Ensure senior management is informed of important issues such as flight irregularity promptly.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Minimum of three (3) years of relevant training and management experience.
- Leadership and people skills.
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) in French and English.
- Excellent planning and organizational skills.
- Strong ability to problem solving and decision-making experience.
- Flexible to work various shifts (days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays)
- Ability to understand and deal with conflicts.
- Computer literate (Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Customer focus and quality awareness.
