    Description

    We are a full‐service business law firm in Downtown Vancouver, and for more than 50 years, we have provided exceptional service and outstanding results for our clients.

    Our clients are large, medium, and small businesses, including publicly traded companies, financial institutions (including chartered banks, credit unions, and non-bank commercial lenders), and leaders in real estate, telecommunications, and other sectors.

    Due to our affiliation with Interlaw, a network of full-service business law firms in over 150 cities around the world, a significant number of our files

    We provide mentorship to our associates in practice skills and client development with the goal of training associates to be future shareholders.

    We believe that there is more to life than the practice of law, and all lawyers, students, and support staff are encouraged to live balanced lives and be involved in their communities.

    Our office has a private deck space for the use of our lawyers, staff, and clients.

    We are currently looking for a junior/intermediate litigation associate to work on commercial litigation, insurance defence, and other general civil litigation files.

    Our junior/intermediate litigation associates have conduct of their own files (for cases of appropriate complexity) and assist senior counsel with aspects of more complex files.

    The ideal candidate will be a 2-to-5-year call who has previous experience in a litigation practice.

    The candidate should have a breadth of experience in our litigation practice areas and be capable of conducting files from beginning to end.

    This is an excellent opportunity for a well‐rounded, self‐motivated individual who possesses sound judgment, a solid work ethic, and good interpersonal skills.

    Bringing an existing client base, although an asset, is not a requirement.

    We are on a lockstep compensation model based on year of call, comparable with the market, with a competitive bonus/incentive model that rewards associates who exceed billable hour expectations.
