    Underwriting Assistant — Remote
    Our client in the insurance industry is looking for a meticulous Underwriting Assistant to join their remote team. This position plays a crucial role in delivering top-notch service and creating a seamless experience for broker partners.

    As an Underwriting Assistant, you will handle broker partners' needs promptly and efficiently, always striving to improve the quality of underwriting services.

    What you'll get:

    • Hourly wage of $22.87.

    Responsibilities:

    Broker Relationship Management:
    Provide exceptional service to broker partners and maintain a seamless experience.

    Service Delivery:
    Deliver prompt and knowledgeable service to broker partners, striving for excellence in underwriting.

    Broker Survey Influence:
    Effectively impact Broker Survey results through consistent actions throughout the year.

    Integrity and Representation:

    Show integrity in representing Broker/Aviva and when engaging with team members and leadership.


    Service Focus:
    Prioritize servicing existing business and upholding service level agreements.

    Data Management:
    Handle data entry for new business, set up Salesforce accounts, submit to portals, and document new submissions.

    Business Tracking:
    Maintain accuracy in new business trackers.

    Documentation and Processing:
    Manage new business binds, ensure proper document storage and communication, and follow up on outstanding risk items.

    Report Ordering:
    Request MVR, Auto+, and Hits reports.


    • Risk Follow-ups: Conduct risk follow-ups with broker partners according to our system.

    Collaboration:
    Collaborate with leadership on work distribution, triage, and SLA data builds.

    Needed for success:

    • Proficient in Excel and other Microsoft Office tools.
    • Familiarity with office environments.
    • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
