    Element Fleet Management is seeking a Manager, Corporate Marketing and Events to join our team.     The Manager, Corporate Events and Marketing is a key member of the Element Fleet Management commercial team, focused on supporting end-to-end planning of internal and external events and managing the daily functions/requests for the team, reporting

    A Day in the Life

    • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams on company initiatives and events, including but not limited to Senior Leadership Forum, Sales Kick-off, Winners Circle Client Advisory Board, and employee experiences
    • Prioritize multiple initiatives, researching the latest and greatest in the events world, creating work back schedules, RFPs, event briefings-feedback, budget tracking
    • Understand the Element brand to ensure we uphold to brand standards in all aspects that marketing and events touch
    • Support end-to-end planning of corporate events that could include virtual, hybrid, and in-person event initiatives
    • Provide on-site support and contributing to the execution of all events
    • Partner with vendors to deliver on elements of the attendee experience, including A/V and staging, catering, attendee materials and collaborating with the Marketing and Communications teams on executing conference marketing plans and developing event marketing collateral
    • Provide weekly status updates on event progress, managing and reporting on event registration and conducting pre- and post-event debriefs for our stakeholders
    • Support innovation of data-driven observation within the team, with a focus on transforming event data into relevant, actionable recommendations to improve event design and attendee experiences
    • Oversee events calendar by evaluating incoming requests from internal stakeholders, manage event and marketing files, develop and improve event processes
    • Provide event management consulting services to Element aligned to business objectives
    • Co-ordinate with field marketing on trade shows ensuring Element's brand is represented visually and through the on-site experience

    Requirements

    • A post-secondary graduate with a degree in Marketing, Event Planning or other related discipline or equivalent experience
    • Minimum of 8 years' experience in Event Management, Hospitality, or similar field
    • Knowledge of facilities management, audio-visual, and proposal writing
    • Experienced in event and/or conference planning with the proven ability to organize and execute successful meetings and experiences on-site, virtually and in hybrid environments
    • An excellent communicator (verbal and written) with well-developed negotiation and influencing skills and the ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including senior executives; excellent editorial skills with knowledge of grammar, spelling and punctuation
    • Technically savvy and knowledgeable in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Teams and ideally experienced with event registration programs such as Cvent, and virtual event platforms
    • High degree of organization and prioritization skills
    • Working knowledge of Illustrator, Adobe Creative Suite is an asset
    • Experience with event budgeting and vendor negotiation preferred
    • Creative problem-solving and composure through fast-paced and changing situations
    • Ongoing professional development and working towards a Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) designation would be considered an asset
    • Must be able to travel up to 15% of the time or as requested
