    Shared Health leads the planning and coordinates the integration of patient-centered clinical and preventive health services across Manitoba. The organization also delivers some province-wide health services and supports centralized administrative and business functions for Manitoba health organizations.
    Reporting to the Director of the Multiple Sclerosis Clinic the incumbent:
    # Educates new Neurology Unit Clerks regarding the initiative and related processes.
    # Ensures that appropriate data collection forms and devices are distributed to patients.
    # Acts as communication link for the MS Clinic and Manitoba Health.
    # Responds to queries from regarding data collection including error checking.
    # Experience working with patients in clinical or research setting required.
    Experience working with hospital/clinical patient information system, electronic medical records required.
    Experience with clinical research preferred.
    Experienced with medical records review preferred.
    Bachelor's Degree required.

    Medical Terminology (75% pass mark) preferred.
    Typing/keyboarding skills wpm) preferred.
    Proficiency with Microsoft Office required.
    Knowledge of neurology, particularly MS, an asset.
    Familiarity with programming and statistical analysis an asset.
    Familiarity with quality assurance initiatives and process improvement preferred.
