- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Health Informatics, Nursing, Health Information Sciences or Business Administration.
- A minimum of five (5) years of progressive experience with information systems including a minimum of two
- (2) years in a project management, technical supervision or management role.
- Previous experience leading or managing enterprise systems in a complex multi-site environment, preferably electronic health record based clinic and community information systems.
- Successful record of leading and managing large, high profile implementation projects.
- Or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
- Current valid BC Driver's License.

- Knowledge of Clinical Information Systems, Application Life Cycle and ITIL methodologies.
- Knowledge of information and knowledge management principles including but not limited to areas of information sharing, quality and FOIPPA privacy legislation.

The Regional Manager, Clinics & Community Care Systems is responsible for the planning, functionality and lifecycle of Clinical Information Systems (CIS) used to manage operations and deliver care in Northern Health (NH) community-based health services and clinics.
These systems are used by providers, nurses, allied health professionals, support staff, and operational managers.The Manager is the regional liaison between clinical leaders, Information Management Information Technology (IMIT), vendors and partners, ensuring that CIS services are in accordance with NH practices and strategic goals.
The position manages IMIT staff, projects, services and relationships. The position is a health informatics leader, working in consultation with stakeholders to advance healthcare transformation. They utilize the framework of people, processes and technology to improve rural health spaces and services.Starting salary will be approximately from $106,026 to $132,533 and will be based on education, training, experience, and salaries of similar positions.
