Perform monthly GL postings and reconciliations to ensure accuracy on financial reporting and to identify and correct any unusual items
Monitor and oversee Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable and Payroll functions, while providing leadership and support to staff
Provide support to external tax advisors in the preparation of yearly tax returns
Analyze and interpret month-end financial reporting package metrics and trends, and be able to communicate and provide recommendations to the senior management team
Responsible for monthly payroll tax remittances and oversight of tax compliance
Engage in internal control process improvements and system enhancement
Assist in all tasks and ad hoc projects when needed
Solid experience with Quickbooks and ADP is an asset
Advanced Excel is required
