    Description
    Our client specializes in the financial services industry. They are currently looking for a Controller to join as a Senior member of the Finance team
    Invested in a new office and vibrant culture
    Responsible for accuracy and productivity of day-to-day activities of accounts payable, customer credit and collections, and payroll
    Responsible for directing the treasury services of the organization, including weekly cash forecasting and covenant reporting
    Ensure compliance with all government filings, regulatory, tax, banking and legal requirements
    Ensure critical internal controls, processes and procedures are documented and working effectively.
    Improve and maintain internal controls for accurate financial reporting and for compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements
    Develop and manage relationships with financial institutions, insurance providers, private equity, external auditors and tax and other consultants
    Excellent writing and communication skills
