    At CFIB, your work supports small businesses in your community and across the country.

    You will work closely with colleagues both locally and across the country – building upon synergies and learning from one another.

    We have an exciting opportunity for a full-time position as a Controller. This position will be required to work in a hybrid work arrangement (from home and from the Toronto office).
    The Controller will also formulate relevant and timely reports on financial data analytics and other key metrics.
    Manage the day-to-day accounting functions, ensuring that each key function runs smoothly including general accounting, accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
    Oversee the timely preparation of the monthly financial statements and conduct analysis for presentation to the VP, Finance
    Proactively ensure that appropriate systems and internal controls are implemented, documented, and maintained, identifying, and recommending improvements
    Manage the preparation of tax and other regulatory reports
    Maintains financial staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees
    Computer literate with knowledge of accounting software principles. Knowledge of Microsoft NAV/Business Central and SAP Concur Expense is an asset
    Excellent English communications skills (both written and verbal), knowledge of French is an asset
