    Description
    As an Account Executive, you will selling B2B Freight Services all type of businesses across North America. You will primarily be selling to shipping managers. This role is primarily new business development with minimal leads supplied. The base salary is $80, ,000 plus uncapped and residual commissions, along with other perks.


    COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:
    $80, ,000 Base Salary, plus competitive commission

    The top performer is earning $400,000 and still growing

    THE COMPANY & CULTURE:
    Our client is almost 10 years old, offering freight brokerage services to customers across North America. Their team is differentiated through offering best-in-class customer service combined with very competitive service pricing.

    OFFICE LOCATION & SALES TERRITORY:
    Head Office is in North York, ON

    This is primarily a work-from-home position, with some work-from-office required during training.

    Sales Territory includes local (GTA), Regional, National, and International (USA)


    EXPERIENCE, BACKGROUND & EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
    1+ years of sales experience selling similar logistical services, an asset but not required.

    Experience in B2B cold-calling, prospecting and lead generation

    "Hunter" mentality with experience building a territory from scratch


    TECHNICAL SKILLS:
    Business Degree an asset (but not required)

    Strong written and verbal communication skills, including great telephone skills

    Above-average Computer Skills & experience in Digital Prospecting

    French an asset (but not required)

    Customers range from single annual order, to 100+

    Short sale cycle, with strong opportunity for repeat business

    To begin:
    90% New Business Development

    10% Account Management


    Long-term Goal:
    50% Account Management

    50% New Business Development


    LEADS:
    100% Prospecting/Cold Calling to begin with

    Strong possibility of repeat business


    OVERNIGHT TRAVEL:
    None


    SUPPORT & TRAINING:
    Job Shadowing

    Mentoring

    1-2 Days training at Head Office

    Mostly technical training as ideal candidate already has sales aptitude

    Full productivity expected within 6 months
