    Pharmacy Programs Leads - Healthcare - Oakville
    Contract - 12 to 18 months

    The Randstad Healthcare team is currently supporting one of our pharmacy clients with a facility located in Oakville in their search for an Pharmacy Program Lead to take a leadership role in their facility.

    In this setting you will lead and work alongside a team of pharmacy assistants to provide medication service to patients in an innovative and progressive manner.

    This supervisor will be responsible for ensuring that team members are working effectively towards effective patient services and delivery of prescriptions while problem-solving and maintaining oversight of deliverables to ensure that deadlines are met.

    Responsibilities
    Pharmacy Programs Leads - Healthcare - Oakville
    Contract - 12 to 18 months

    • Working alongside and managing team of associates (10+ people)
    • Oversee prescription workflow processes to meet deadlines, ensuring fair workload distribution among associates and teams.
    • Provide coaching, mentoring, and support in onboarding new hires and crosstraining current associates.
    • Partner with pharmacy staff and other business units to achieve goals and assist in program development.
    • Monitor outgoing shipments to ensure timely delivery and address any related issues.
    • Frequently consult with the Pharmacy Manager, Pharmacists, and program management to resolve operational and customer issues.
    • Maintain and disseminate thorough knowledge of assigned drugs/programs and serve as a Subject Matter Expert.
    • Represent the pharmacy in interdepartmental meetings.
    • Promptly process manual claims and audits.
    • Collaborate with the pharmacy accountant on accounts receivable and benefits documentation.
    • Input and correct prescription data in the computer system.
    • Support the team in daily activities, screen calls, manage inventory, and complete routine administrative tasks.
    • Understand and analyze pharmacy performance metrics and financial documentation.
    • Maintain and review Quality Assurance documentation.
    Qualifications

    Contract - 12 to 18 months

    • 2+ years of experience in a specialty pharmacy is mandatory;
    • Previous leadership experience is strongly prefered;
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
    • Ability to work effectively within a team;
    • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
