    2nd Year Electrical Apprentice - Automation

    Convergint is currently recruiting for a 2 nd Year Electrical Apprentice - Automation to join our growing team in our Calgary location.

    As the 2 nd Year Electrical Apprentice, you will be responsible for reading and interpreting drawings, circuit diagrams and electrical code specifications to determine wiring layouts for new or existing installations that are typically less complex.

    What you'll do with "Our Training and Your Experience"
    Use a variety of tools and equipment such as measuring devices, power tools, and testing equipment.
    Executes all installations under direct supervision adhering to company health and safety policies and procedures.
    Proactively seeks technical guidance from more experienced staff as needed.

    Developing technical skills and experience related to electrical installations that make up the Building Automation or Security solutions we offer our clients.

    Basic mechanical and electrical aptitude (e.g. works with a variety of hand and power tools such as drill, screwdriver, wire stripper, hacksaw, crimper)
    There may be occasional overnight travel. Valid driver's license required.
    Basic computer skills including familiarity with Microsoft Outlook.
    One year of previous Construction experience is an asset
