    Trans Mountain operates Canada's only pipeline system transporting oil products to the West Coast.

    We deliver approximately 300,000 barrels of petroleum products each day through 1,150 kilometres of pipeline in Alberta and British Columbia, and 111 kilometres of pipeline in Washington state.

    The Emergency Management Analyst is a key position to support the Emergency Management Program.

    The Emergency Management Analyst's main responsibility is to support the implementation and maintenance of the program to ensure Trans Mountain complies with all emergency management regulations and company policies and procedures.

    Assist with the implementation and maintenance of the integrated safety and loss management system including the development of tools/forms/templates required as part of the emergency management program.

    Assist in the preparation of reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information for exercise/incidents, management system progress reports, and track commitments for completion.

    Support the department in the maintenance and distribution of response plans, fire safety plans, fire pre-plans and other departmental documentation.

    Ensuring that all documentation to support regulatory compliance are retained as per regulatory requirements including tracking corrective action plans resulting from reviews of exercises, and management system documentation.

    Create and review technical documents for accuracy and completeness, correct errors, and spot discrepancies and anomalies.

    Manipulate large data sets and documents into digestible formats to aid in effective decision making and provide technical support for all other matters and requirements related to EM.

    Support the team with engagement activities such as full-scale exercises, stakeholder and community meetings, workshops, open houses, etc.

    Extensive experience utilizing the Microsoft Suite of applications including Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point, D365 and data management systems .

    3 to 5 years of experience in Administrative/Analyst role .
    General understanding of pipeline operations, business continuity and/or emergency management .

    Ability to synthesize a large amount of data and information and to draft high-quality documents, including internal and external correspondence.

    Pro-actively identifies potential risks and vulnerabilities and communicates them appropriately .
    This role is an office-based position.
