    We are looking for a Manager, Enterprise Applications and Integrations to join us in the exciting work we do in the Technology & Global Security department. It will be your responsibility to build and optimize a DevOps team for a large portfolio of applications and integrations. You will bring broad multidisciplinary experience to automate and accelerate processes. This role will focus on increasing the speed and quality of software development, while also improving reliability throughout the application lifecycle.

    The Manager, Enterprise Applications and Integrations will report to the Director, Application Management and Support. The role is located at either our Edmonton or Calgary offices.

    • Lead all facets of development and operations for a portfolio of applications
    • Deliver new products, services, and enhancements on-time, that meet target quality, performance, and budget.
    • Provide best in-class operational support, problem, change and incident management following industry best practices to ensure operational excellence.
    • Provide oversight and leadership for programs and projects
    • Communicate and work closely with internal and external teams to ensure awareness and knowledge of all aspects of applications and integrations within the portfolio
    • Monitor performance and stability of applications within the portfolio so that operational SLA's are met or exceeded
    • Lead vendor selection for application and integration development partners
    • Accountable for cybersecurity compliance and to assist Internal Audit with the execution of cybersecurity audits.
    • Hire, train, and mentor team members, set performance goals and objectives and conduct annual performance reviews, allocate resources, structure work across the team
    • Negotiate support agreements with service providers and IT vendors and ensure support contracts are put in place where required
    • Implement best practices for: environment management, code management, technical requirements, technical design, testing standards/automation
    • Manage the capital expenditure budget, operational budget and annual strategic plans for the portfolio of application.

    Who You Are:

    • Bachelor's degree of at least 4 years from a college or university with a major in Computer Science, MIS, Engineering, Business or Commerce
    • 10+ years of experience in Application Development and Operations, including 5 years as a direct leader to teams.
    • Strong technical expertise in one or more specialty areas such as Application Support, cloud management or integration management.
    • Broad knowledge of IT operations technologies and services including enterprise data warehouse and reporting, Cloud Services (IAAS, PAAS, SAAS), service management tools, monitoring services, end user experience tools, infrastructure services, robotic process automation, application enhancements, and DevOps experience supporting integrated project teams, including Agile and Waterfall methods of work
    • Strong project management, program management and/or project delivery experience in a large multi-stakeholder environment
