    :

    Role Specific Accountabilities

  • Provide support to the GTSL Controller in managing and overseeing the Corporate financial operations of the organization
  • Prepare Corporate entities financial statements
  • Prepare monthly journal entries, accruals and variance analysis
  • Conduct the month end close process for Corporate entities including Marketing, Executive Cost Centers, Fixed Assets and Corporate Banking
  • Prepare and/or assist in reviewing Balance Sheet reconciliations
  • Review Store Entity Financial Statements
  • Assist in the preparation Corporate budgets and forecasts
  • Prepare and produce financial information for the year end audit
  • Prepare ad hoc reports and analysis for management

    • Knowledge and Skills

  • University degree in Accounting/Business
  • CPA designation
  • 5+ years of accounting experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong computer skills including advanced Excel skills
  • Ability to work independently and part of a team
  • Experience developing relationships with departments outside Finance
  • Ability to speak/read/write French is an asset
  • Retail experience
  • Experience working in a large organization with many legal entities
  • Excellent time management skills
