- Provide excellent support to executives by preparing accurate and timely budgets and forecasts, monitoring results versus budget/ forecast, and providing a thorough analysis and investigating variances while identifying risks and opportunities with a focus on providing meaningful/actionable insights
- Produce insightful, meaningful, and analytical commentary and reporting that can assist financial and non-financial stakeholders to facilitate decision making
- Proactively build and improve financial models to assist with regular and ad hoc analysis and reporting
- Collaborate with various FP&A teams to consolidate financial results
- Anticipate and support evolving financial performance reporting needs and work with cross functional teams to drive improvements and process changes
- Participate as a subject matter expert in special projects and ad hoc analysis as required
- University degree or College diploma in Business, Finance/Accounting, or business-related discipline
- Are currently pursuing or have obtained an accounting designation (CPA, CA, CMA, CGA)
- Minimum of 2+ years in a business or financial analysis role
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills accompanied with strong business acumen
- Experience with building and improving financial models
- Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Access
- Strong interpersonal, communication (both written and verbal) and presentation skills with ability to articulate complex financial results and build and maintain strong relationships
- Attention to detail, organized, motivated self-starter and with ability to thrive in an environment responsive to changing business requirements
- Team player and open to new challenge
- Working knowledge of PeopleSoft, HFM, Data visualization tools (Power BI), SQL and Supply Chain experience is an asset
