    Description

    Harbinger Network is currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Vice President of Mergers and Acquisitions to lead our strategic initiatives in identifying, evaluating, and executing potential mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and other strategic partnerships.

    The Vice President of Mergers and Acquisitions will play a critical role in in helping our clients realize the true worth of their business and Provide solid Evaluations of the current state of their business.

    Perform financial due diligence on target companies, including reviewing historical financial statements, identifying accounting issues, and assessing potential risks and contingencies.

    # ASC 805) to determine fair values of acquired assets and liabilities.
    # Prepare and review accounting memos, purchase accounting entries, and related documentation to ensure compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements.
    # Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, legal, tax, and operations, to facilitate the timely and accurate integration of acquired entities into the company's financial reporting systems.
    # Support the integration process by identifying and addressing accounting and reporting issues, implementing accounting policies and procedures, and coordinating with external auditors as needed.
    # Assist in the preparation of financial statements, footnotes, and disclosures for inclusion in external reporting documents, such as SEC filings and audit reports.
    # Provide training and guidance to finance team members and other stakeholders on M&A accounting principles, methodologies, and procedures.

    Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field; CPA is a must have, CBV is an asset
    # Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, financial reporting, or M&A advisory roles, with a focus on mergers and acquisition accounting.
    # Solid understanding of GAAP and accounting principles, particularly related to business combinations, purchase accounting, and consolidation.
