New Metric Media is searching for a passionate, experienced and talented Head of People (Operations) to help build the newly formed HR and Operations functions at New Metric from the ground level.

Own, build and execute on People & Culture initiatives to drive employee engagement, employer brand and experience for the organization~ Oversee the recruitment and onboarding process, including job postings, candidate screening, interviews, and offer letters.
~ Lead and drive our workplace operations function covering real estate, productivity tools (hardware and software), hybrid work environment and security
~ Manage employee relations issues, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and performance improvement plans.
~ Coordinate and conduct employee training and development programs to enhance skills and productivity.
~ Develop and implement HR policies and procedures in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
~ Collaborate with department heads and hiring managers to align staffing strategies with organizational needs, compensation, and business goals.
~ Provide guidance to people leaders on performance evaluations, goal-setting, professional development plans and performance improvement plans for under-performing employees.
~ A bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is required
~8+ years of relevant work experience - talent acquisition or recruitment is essential & HR Generalist support
~ Knowledge in employment law, organizational planning, employee relations, training and development, talent management, performance management and talent acquisition
~ Strong written/verbal communication skills and relationship management skills
~ Must be a strategic critical thinker with the ability to partner with senior management to drive business objectives while considering employees' interests
~ Demonstrates well-developed business insight and understands how to implement/manage change
~ Previous experience building culture and engagement programs in the past
~ High emotional quotient / intelligence and strong judgement with a demonstrated ability to navigate and solve complex interpersonal issues
~ Experience working in the entertainment industry is an asset;
