- The High Pressure position involves the safe operation of a high-pressure (20,000 PSI) truck for washing of heavy equipment and various industrial related projects throughout the site.
- Assist the Operator with the safe operation of the various units
- Assist the Operator with the set up and control hoses attached to the pumps to ensure the safe and effective pumping of water
- Install temporary equipment (including the installation of Victual pipe, chemical house mixing various chemicals)
- Participate in job site preparation, including the rigging in/out of equipment
- Spot the safe positioning of equipment
- Ensure all equipment is cleaned and stored
- Confined space entry to remove debris and perform detailed cleaning
- Clear verbal and written English
- Safety Tickets: H2S Alive, Confined Space, Fall Arrest/Protection, WHMIS, CSTS and CSO.
- Previous experience working in various environments (i.e. confined space, heights, noisy and various and extreme weather conditions); Industrial pulp and paper and/or oil and gas experience is also an asset.
- Swamping experience is an asset (i.e. Vacuum and Hydro vac work).
- Experience working with High Pressure Water Blasting Equipment is an asset.
- Experience working with chemicals is an asset
