    Job Description: We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused individual to join our front end team as a Cashier and PC Express Shopper. In this role, you will be responsible for processing transactions accurately and efficiently while providing exceptional customer service as well as accurately selecting and preparing grocery orders for our customers, ensuring that they receive high-quality products in a timely manner.

    Cashier Responsibilities:

  • Greet customers with a friendly demeanor
  • Scan items, provide pricing information, and process payments using cash registers
  • Ensure accurate cash handling and balance cash registers at the end of each shift
  • Resolve customer complaints or concerns in a professional manner
  • Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
  • Assist with stocking shelves and maintaining inventory levels as needed
  • Uphold company policies and procedures regarding customer transactions and privacy

    • PC Express Shopper Responsibilities:

  • Review customer orders and locate items in the store
  • Select and package grocery items according to established procedures
  • Ensure accuracy and attention to detail when picking items
  • Maintain proper handling and storage of perishable and non-perishable items
  • Operate equipment such as hand trucks or carts to transport groceries within the store
  • Assist with inventory management and restocking shelves as needed
  • Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times
  • Collaborate with team members to fulfill orders efficiently and meet deadlines
  • Provide friendly and helpful customer service when interacting with customers during order pickup

    • Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a cashier or customer service role preferred
  • Strong math skills, organization and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication, teamwork and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy objects and work in a physically demanding role
  • Basic computer skills for order processing and inventory management
