Job Summary
The Lead Procurement, under the guidance of the Procurement Director, prepares and executes all of the organization's Procurement Processes as per policies and procedures.
How you will make a difference
- Interact and coordinate with cross functional teams throughout the procurement process. Also coordinate meetings with vendors and evaluation teams for vendor presentations.
- Manage the execution of the strategic procurement processes including RFPs, bid packages and vendor negotiations under the guidance of the Procurement Director.
- Review current processes to bring about efficiencies and improvements in the procurement process.
- Lead internal communication efforts for the Finance department projects.
- Provide support to assist Client departments navigate the procurement process to ensure compliance with corporate policies.
- As the first point of contact for all Concur issues, the incumbent provides employees with training and responds to employees when they have issues to resolve such issues.
- Assist departments with navigating procurement process to ensure compliance and follow up on existing purchase orders and contract addendum.
Requirements that are important to us
- Undergraduate degree in Accounting, Business Administration or equivalent.
- Four to five (45) years of relevant experience, with the ability to prepare and execute complex competitive procurement processes.
- A procurement certificate.
- Understanding of procurement law, contract law, and information systems
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and advance Excel skills
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Centre is an asset.
The OMA has moved to a permanent hybrid work environment. As such, the individual in this position will be required to work a minimum number of days in our Toronto office.
