    Description

    As a Senior Research Manager, you will work with clients to understand their business issues and execute custom research projects to meet their needs.

    You will manage multiple projects from start to finish, including designing research approaches with senior team members, liaising with partners in Research Operations to execute projects, analyzing data to generate insights, developing recommendations, and creating compelling presentations that help illuminate the human behaviors behind the data.

    The Senior Account Manager will report to the Vice President and join a team of curious-minded researchers and client partners.

    Please note, this is a contract position.

    Manage multiple survey-based market research projects at once, within timeline and budgets, including working closely with colleagues in our Operations groups to oversee all components of projects, and coaching junior staff to develop their project management and research skills.

    Design questionnaires and plan analyses.
    Analyze data and draw conclusions; Assist in proposal development with senior colleagues as needed.
    Manage overall project profitability.
    May act as manager to one or more Account Managers/Research Analysts.

    Includes overseeing training schedule, day-to-day guidance and supervision, and providing feedback (both ongoing and during annual review and goal setting).

    5+ years relevant experience (supplier side market research preferred).
    ~ Ability to turn data into insights through analysis and storytelling.
    ~ Ability to oversee and direct multiple projects.
    ~ Intellectually curious with a desire to better understand the "why" behind the data.
    ~ Works well in a team environment with senior and junior colleagues.
    ~ Bachelor's Degree required – market research, marketing, and/or business coursework/programs are an asset.
