- Enforce Remuda's health and safety policies and quality policies for a secure and high-quality work environment.
- Properly utilize manpower and equipment to maximize productivity and efficiency.
- Organize shifts, monitor hours, and coordinate plant activities for streamlined operations.
- Provide comprehensive on-the-job training covering safety, company policy, and procedures for plant personnel.
- Coordinate plant activities, including assembly, to optimize production processes.
- Ensure assemblers understand quality requirements and evaluate and eliminate hazardous work situations.
- Record and escalate employee concerns to General Manager for resolution.
- Maintain quality control procedures and monitor scheduled maintenance of shop equipment and cleanliness of work areas.
- Manage hiring, production flow, and material efficiency.
- Coordinate forklift operations, yard work, trucking and sales scheduling.
- Monitor inventory, production progress and product storage.
- Prior relevant experience is essential.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain and uphold quality standards in production processes.
- Strong leadership skills with capability to effectively manage manpower and equipment for optimized productivity.
- Prior experience in organizing shift requirements and coordinating plant activities to meet production goals.
- Excellent training skills with the ability to provide comprehensive on-the-job training covering safety, company policies and procedures.
- Effective problem solving skills to evaluate and eliminate hazardous work situations.
