- Responsible for the purchasing of non-ferrous scrap metals. We will provide you with the training to identify, grade, and determine the quality of Non-Ferrous metals.
- Data entry into the RECY system, all purchases are processed through our RECY point-of-sale system.
- Communicates clearly and directly with customers and employees concerning purchases in relation to our grading system.
- Implements all aspects of material purchasing and inventory while properly weighing and tracking the material.
- Actively seek opportunities to improve quality, service, and cost of all materials and/or services.
- Provide backup or assistance throughout the yard as needed or assigned.
- Provides backup support to department personnel when necessary.
- Preparing shipments and receiving equipment using forklift as required
- Work with a safety-oriented mindset
- Customer service skills are a must. Must be able to always represent the company in a professional manner.

Job Description
We are currently recruiting for a Non-Ferrous Receiver (Non-Ferrous Processor) with experience for our Ajax location. Under the supervision of the Yard Manager, the incumbent will be responsible for working directly with the public, representing the company in a professional manner while directly purchasing non-ferrous scrap metals from our customers.
