- Liaising with other disciplines through work development; investigating, advising, and resolving complex design and field engineering problems
- Reviewing, interpretating, designing and analyzing process equipment and systems, including process simulation and system analysis, prepare technical reports, design drawings, and specifications.
- Preparing technical reports, design drawings and specifications
- Conducting debottlenecking studies, equipment sizing and selection
- Supporting procurement, fabrication, and construction efforts including through bid evaluations, communication with suppliers, documentation review, and support to offshore execution
- Providing technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers
- Bachelor's Degree in a related engineering discipline
- Registration as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng) with PEGNL, or the ability to register
- A minimum of 10 years' experience
- Significant experience in a brownfield project or industrial environment
- Solid engineering knowledge of process design codes and standards
- Competency in process analysis software such as HYSYS, OLGA, and FlareNet or equivalent is required
- Knowledge of the development of sustainable energy sources would be an asset
