Bilingual Registered Nurse – Clinic
Relief-Casual position

South-East Ottawa Community Health Centre (SEOCHC) is a non-profit, community-governed organization that provides a range of multi-disciplinary services to clients, including primary care, health promotion, social services, community and resource development, home support and advocacy to address the social determinants of health.

SEOCHC particularly responds to persons who face barriers to accessing health and social services and who live in South-East Ottawa.

Our services and programs are designed to meet the needs of our community.

We are seeking a Registered Nurse to work in our clinic on a Relief/Casual basis as a member of an inter-professional primary care team, which includes physicians, nurse practitioners, nurses, administrative staff, and allied health professionals.

Provide direct patient care, including assessment, treatment, and education, under the supervision of a physician or nurse practitioner
Perform routine procedures such as administering medications, immunizations, allergy shots, ear irrigation, dressing changes, and specimen collection.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement care plans
Document patient encounters accurately and timely in electronic medical records
Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care outcomes
Educate patients and families on health maintenance and disease prevention strategies
3-5 years nursing experience, preferably in a community or primary health care setting .
~ Experience using a medical software program, preferably PSS being an asset.
~ Fluency in English and French language preferred; other languages an asset
~ Proficiency in the use of computers and electronic medical records
~ Ability to work flexible hours.
