    Join Our Team as a Geotechnical Engineer!

    Toronto, Ontario · Construction/Facilities

    Are you passionate about geotechnical engineering and eager to take on challenging projects in a collaborative environment? Look no further! Our client is currently in search of a Geotechnical Engineer to join their dynamic Ground Engineering division. By becoming a part of our compact team, you will receive mentorship from seasoned professionals while contributing to significant projects that make a real impact.

    Position Responsibilities:

    • Support engineers in various geotechnical projects such as site investigations, foundation design, slope stabilization, and more.
    • Assist in developing geotechnical investigation programs and evaluating subcontractor submissions.
    • Conduct geotechnical studies, assess bearing capacity of soils, and evaluate retaining wall stability.
    • Address geotechnical issues like settlements, slope stabilization, and excavation procedures.
    • Supervise boreholes, in situ tests, and construction activities to ensure quality standards.
    • Perform slope stability and settlement analyses to ensure project integrity.

    Position Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in Civil, Geological, Mining, or Geotechnical Engineering.
    • Registered as an EIT or working towards a professional designation.
    • Proficiency in GeoStudio, RocScience, PLAXIS, and other relevant software.

    Compensation:

    Expected Salary: Competitive and commensurate with experience.
