Ce rôle sera confié à un analyste qui sera responsable des efforts d'analyse des contraintes sur le fuselage et aidera également à résoudre les principaux problèmes hautement non linéaires auxquels l'équipe chargée des contraintes sur le fuselage est confrontée.We are looking for a Senior Structural analyst to join our team. This role will be for an analyst who will own stress analysis efforts on the airframe, and will also assist with key, highly nonlinear problems the airframe stress team faces.

  • Dans cette perspective, nous recherchons un analyste des structures senior pour rejoindre notre équipe Contraintes des structures et certifications sur l'IPT Structures et Intérieurs. L'objectif de l'analyste principal des structures chez Wisk est de contribuer aux efforts d'analyse des contraintes sur le fuselage pour les problèmes de contrainte traditionnels sur fuselages composites et métalliques ainsi que pour les problèmes plus complexes et hautement non linéaires pour le premier avion entièrement électrique entièrement autonome qui fonctionne et opère en toute sécurité dans un environnement de mobilité aérienne urbaine.
  • Le candidat retenu est très motivé, axé sur les résultats et est en mesure d'utiliser efficacement une solide compréhension des principes fondamentaux, de solides compétences en résolution de problèmes et des compétences en programmation.   • With that vision in mind, we are looking for a Sr Structural Analyst to join our Structures Stress and Certification team on the Structures and Interiors IPT. The goal of the Sr Structural Analyst at Wisk is to contribute to stress analysis efforts on the airframe for both traditional composite and metallic airframe stress problems as well as more complex and highly nonlinear problems for the first fully autonomous all-electric aircraft that performs and operates safely in an urban air-mobility environment.
  • The successful candidate is highly motivated, results driven, and is able to effectively use a deep understanding of first principles, strong problem solving skills, and programming skills. You will be working in a fast paced environment with the focus of developing the future of electric aviation.

    • Votre mission (What you will do):

  • Offrir un soutien quotidien en matière d'analyse des contraintes pour les matériaux du fuselage (composite et métallique), y compris, mais sans s'y limiter, le dimensionnement du matériel, la création de rapports de justification, le soutien aux campagnes de test du matériel et l'aide à l'élimination des non conformités
  • Vous coordonner étroitement avec les homologues de la conception et de la fabrication pour s'assurer que le soutien à l'analyse des contraintes est harmonisé entre les intervenants
  • Appuyer les efforts d'analyse structurale dynamique transitoire non linéaire qui intégreront des complexités telles que la non linéarité des matériaux et la modélisation des dommages, la dynamique des impacts, etc. (p. ex. collision avec des oiseaux)
  • Provide day-to-day stress analysis support for airframe hardware (composite and metallic), including but not limited to sizing hardware, creating substantiation reports, supporting hardware test campaigns, and assisting in the dispositioning of non-conformances
  • Coordinate closely with counterparts in design and manufacturing to ensure stress analysis support is aligned with stakeholders
  • Support nonlinear transient dynamic structural analysis efforts which will incorporate complexities such as material nonlinearity and damage modeling, impact dynamics, etc. (, bird strike)

    • Ce que vous avez réalisé (What you have done):

  • Baccalauréat, Maîtrise ou Doctorat en génie mécanique, aérospatial ou aéronautique
  • Expérience de 5 ans ou plus en tant qu'analyste des contraintes pour des applications automobiles ou aérospatiales, réalisant des analyses de contraintes à l'aide de méthodes classiques et de la méthode des éléments finis.
  • Compétent avec NX ou MSC NASTRAN
  • Maîtrise des pré/postprocesseurs standard de l'industrie, tels que FEMAP, Patran ou Hypermesh.
  • Maîtrise des codes d'analyse par éléments finis normalisés de l'industrie, comme NASTRAN
  • Connaissant les méthodes classiques d'analyse manuelle, y compris, mais sans s'y limiter, le CLT, les méthodes de Bruhn, Niu, Roark, etc.
  • Maîtrise des codes d'analyse par éléments finis non linéaires normalisés de l'industrie, comme LS-Dyna ou Abaqus
  • Soutien aux efforts d'analyse et de test pour les événements d'impact ou d'accident
  • BS, MS, or PhD in Mechanical, Aerospace, Aeronautical or Automotive Engineering
  • 5+ years of experience as a stress analyst for automotive or aerospace applications performing stress analysis using classical and finite element methods
  • Proficient with NX or MSC NASTRAN
  • Proficient in industry standard pre/post processors, such as FEMAP, Patran, or Hypermesh
  • Proficient in industry standard finite element analysis codes, such as NASTRAN
  • Familiar with classic hand analysis methods, including but not limited to CLT, methods from Bruhn, Niu, Roark, etc.
  • Proficient in industry standard nonlinear finite element analysis codes, such as LS-Dyna or Abaqus
  • Supported analysis and testing efforts for impact/crash events
