Our client, a leading packaging solutions provider, specializes in manufacturing high-quality shrink sleeve labels, folding cartons, stand-up pouch filling, labels, co-packing, and related services. With a commitment to innovation and quality, we are poised for growth and expansion into new sectors

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Account Manager to join our team in Ontario. The ideal candidate will bring 5-10 years of successful sales experience within the packaging industry and possess a proven track record of building and maintaining a robust book of business. This role is pivotal in driving our expansion into new markets and sectors.

*** This position is a sales-hunter role, not your typical sales farming role ***

Responsibilities:

Business Development:

Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the packaging industry, targeting diverse sectors.
Leverage existing industry relationships and networks to expand our client base.
Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets and revenue goals.

Client Management:

Build and nurture strong, long-lasting relationships with clients.
Act as a trusted advisor to clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored packaging solutions.
Ensure customer satisfaction through effective communication and problem-solving.

Market Research:

Stay abreast of industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities.
Conduct market research to identify potential clients and emerging opportunities.
Provide insights and recommendations to leadership based on market intelligence.

Sales Presentations and Negotiations:

Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations to potential clients.
Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements, ensuring mutual benefit for the client and the company.
Effectively communicate the value proposition of our packaging solutions.

Collaboration and Teamwork:

Collaborate with internal teams, including production, design, and customer service, to ensure seamless project execution.
Provide feedback from the market to contribute to product and service enhancements.
Work closely with management to align sales strategies with overall business objectives.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
5-10 years of proven sales experience in the packaging industry.
** Established book of business within the packaging sector **
Strong negotiation and communication skills, both written and verbal.
Corporate and polished demeanor, with a focus on building professional relationships.
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
** Strong Sales Hunter mindset is a must have **

Compensation:

Competitive base salary between $95,000-$125,000.
Commission structure based on sales performance.
Expenses covered for business-related travel and client meetings.
