    As a regional logistics coordinator on the Pomerleau logistics team, you will be responsible for taking requests from civil construction sites, planning and distributing them to the right department, and following up on these requests. You'll ensure complete satisfaction of internal customers, and you'll evaluate the entire regional logistics service for large-scale civil and infrastructure construction projects - ranging from $ million to over $1 billion. You will have the opportunity to work closely with the equipment department, procurement department, pre-construction department and construction sites.

    What You Will Do

  • Make the decision whether to use our fleet or the supply department for construction site requests received;
  • Receive all worksite requests from his assigned department for his region, and ensure that they are distributed to the right service departments;
  • Evaluate the quality of the logistics service and make recommendations to improve performance;
  • Make regular visits to customers (worksites) to ensure a good relationship and validate that the service meets their needs;
  • Fill requests for equipment and consumables from the warehouse or yard linked to his respective region;
  • Depending on the volume of his or her region, the coordinator may make certain purchases by purchase order, while remaining connected to the category specialist;
  • Attend each departmental start-up meeting to fully understand the issues involved;
  • Validate performance indicators with customer service.

    • This role could be for you if you have

  • Have a technical degree in logistics or procurement and/or equivalent experience;
  • 3 to 5 years' relevant experience in civil engineering and infrastructure, deep foundations, engineering structures, earthworks and/or sewer and waterworks;
  • Knowledge of civil engineering equipment;
  • Solid experience in sales or customer management;
  • Intermediate level of English, both spoken and written;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Autonomy and ability to handle emergencies;
  • Willingness to travel as needed within his/her respective province.
