The Electrician Apprentice Field Technician will work with and learn from Journeyman Electrician Field Technicians and other apprentices.
You will be shown practical skills and learn to test, calibrate, install, repair, and inspect manufacturing equipment and monitoring devices.
Reads and interprets electrical, mechanical, and architectural drawings and electrical code specifications.Assist with installing, replacing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and related electrical equipment.
Ability to test circuits to ensure integrity and safety.
Ensure Control Tech's safety program is followed.
Maintaining a high level of safety awareness and adherence and refrain from any task for which authorization and or training has not been given.
Report all incidents and or safety concerns immediately to field supervisor or site manager.Ensure all required safety tickets and training are up to date and complete.
Registered Apprentice
Valid Class 5 Driver's License
Participation in Company provided safety training (TDG, WHIMIS, Wilderness Awareness, Gas Detection & Control, and eGSO)
Experience in Oil and Gas industry is an asset.
