    Description

    Established in and located in the heart of downtown Toronto, The Rosedale Day School (RDS) is an independent, co-educational school serving students from Junior Kindergarten to Grade 8.     The Rosedale Day School is currently seeking a full time Middle School Science Teacher to begin on August 26, . The Teacher reports to the Assistant Head of School and works collaboratively with teachers and parents to support students. This opportunity will provide experience in a collaborative teaching environment that consists of a strong and supportive staff and school culture, and a connected community. Occasional evenings, and overnight travel for school trips is required.

    Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor of Education Degree and relevant Undergraduate Degree
  • Eligible for an Ontario Teaching Certificate (Primary/Junior or Junior/Intermediate)
  • Knowledge of Project Based Learning and The Design Thinking Approach to Problem Solving
  • Working knowledge and classroom experience with Google Apps for Education, Hapara Workspace and assistive technology apps
  • Previous Independent School experience is considered an asset
