    Responsibilities

    • Contribute to the success of our business by participating inregional business plan objectives and by committing to individual and teamobjectives.
    • Determine objectives for direct reports, assignresponsibilities, provide guidance and feedback regarding performance.
    • Facilitate continuous learning, career development, andsuccession planning.

    • Provide effective leadership by continuously keeping your teaminformed on changes/results and share accountability for the overallperformance, productivity and engagement.

    • Evaluate staff performance and prepare formal PerformanceReviews.
    • Perform quality reviews on team members to record staffdevelopment.

    • Develop respectful and successful working relationships with ourstaff and branches.
    • Liaise with other underwriting managers,corporate underwriting and claims management on technical and administrativeissues.
    • Ensure adherence to corporate underwriting standards andprocedures.

    Requirements

    • Must have a Registered Insurance Brokers ofOntario license in good standing (RIBO) - CIP or CAIB certification is anasset

    • Sound knowledge of the insurance industry, policies and products
    • 10+ years' experience as a Personal Lines Account Manager/CSR
    • Excellent Customer Service, Communication and Computer skills withMicrosoft Office experience.
    • Ability to work as a team and work well under pressure
    • Superior organizational, verbal and written communication skills
    • Knowledge of Power Broker and Applied Rating (Compu-Quote) is an asset
    • Must be able to work from Concord office 5 days a week
    License/Certification:
