    Description
    Our client is in the entertainment industry. Review of AR, AP and payroll processes
    Directly manage team of 8 staff at corporate level and payroll administration
    Indirectly manage 18+ staff at the facility level reporting daily financial information
    Identify and implement new ways to improve quality and efficiency of financial processes
    Primary contact and resource for external audit and tax relationships; Manage all tax accounts with the CRA, including leading tax audits, submitting tax payments and controlling all tax programs
    Conduct financial and non-financial analysis to make recommendations to senior management to improve financial results and/or overall financial reporting process
    Oversee purchasing process of the organization, including negotiating with suppliers and running tendering processes/contract negotiations and reviewing pending contracts for financial implications
    Control cash-handling movement, storage, processes and procedures for all cash coming into, though, recycled or out of our locations
    Strong understanding of accounting principles and internal control processes
    Advanced level knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite software
    Experience with Oracle NetSuite or Sage products would be an asset
