    You Are:

    We're on the lookout for a dynamic Intermediate Electrical Designer to join our core team and contribute to our exciting projects. In this dynamic position, you'll spearhead a team of engineers while liaising with clients to grasp their needs and surpass their expectations. We crave a proactive individual, unafraid of donning various hats and adept at adapting to the multifaceted nature of this role.     Responsibilities:
    Lead end-to-end project management, ensuring seamless execution from conception to completion.
    Develop building electrical systems adhering to client needs, regulatory codes, and industry standards.
    Design power distribution systems, conduct load calculations, and optimize device sizing for efficiency.
    Create lighting layouts and validate designs through meticulous calculations.
    Engineer telecommunications systems to meet project requirements.
    Collaborate with consultants to integrate various systems like audio-visual and security seamlessly.
    Maintain consistent communication with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure design cohesion.
    Present designs effectively to consultants and stakeholders for approval and feedback.
    Liaise with manufacturers and suppliers for design support and product selection.
    Oversee construction administration tasks including reviewing drawings and addressing site queries.
    Conduct comprehensive site investigations and reviews to ensure project integrity.
    Contribute to internal process development and support Archos's growth through assigned tasks and initiatives.

    Requirements:

    General
    Located in or willing to relocate to Vancouver, BC. The position is full-time working on-site (Office with site visits as required).
    Registered with EGBC.
    Degree in electrical engineering.
    BC Drivers license or eligible to get one upon relocation.

    Technical
    Robust industry experience with expertise in power distribution, lighting, telecommunications, and fire alarm/life safety systems within building projects. Proficiency in security and audio-visual systems is advantageous.
    Demonstrated proficiency in conducting technical design calculations and adhering to relevant codes and standards including the Canadian Electrical Code, BC Building Code, Fire Codes/Standards, and ASHRAE 90.1.
    Strong understanding of electrical engineering principles, enabling effective problem-solving and innovative design solutions.
    Proficient in AutoCAD and REVIT for technical design and documentation tasks, enhancing project efficiency and collaboration.

    Interpersonal
    Excellent interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
    Strong work ethic, delivering quality results under pressure.
    Quick learner, adept at incorporating feedback.
    Skilled in mentoring junior engineers and delegation.
    Adaptable multitasker with precise execution.
    Effective team player and independent worker.
    Clear communicator, verbally and in writing.

    Nice to haves:
    Working knowledge of Dialux.
    Prior experience working in a fast paced environment juggling multiple responsibilities.
