Description
All applicants' must meet the minimum requirements of the position.

  • Partners must have a strong performance record
- free from written warnings or suspensions for at least (6) six months

Duties and Responsibilities include the following, but are not limited to:
Day to day

  • Promote a positive and healthy working environment in accordance with Brookstreet Hotel.
  • Fulfill any reasonable requests of the partners, guests and management.
  • Ensure guest satisfaction and comfort throughout the entire spa.
  • Communicate with partners regarding guest or service concerns
  • Assist with communication between Spa Welcome Partner (SWP) and therapists.
  • Supervise spa operations when Spa Manager is not available
Personnel

  • Monitor and review all partners' performance with Spa Manager monthly
  • Assist with coaching/motivating partners on service and retail goals
  • Staff scheduling (requests, questions)
  • Approve time tracker hours and add to payroll sheets daily
  • Payroll (bi weekly)
Administration

  • Time tracker, add to payroll daily
  • Attire tracking
  • Mediate disputes and concerns from partners
  • Scheduling questions or requests
Maintenance

  • Responsible for general spa maintenance and repairs. Recording of incident reports.
Training

  • Lead new partner hire training including Orientation according to Spa Operating Procedure Guidelines. Service and retail; according to spa protocols in training manual.
  • Lead new partner hire training and tracking report submitted to Spa Manager (dates, times, treatments performed, evaluation)
Reception

  • Track efficiency of: phone reservations, checking in and out guests, retail purchases, gift certificate purchases

Goal:
maximize treatment room occupancy.

  • Continue to fine tune systems at reception
  • Manage daily deposits for accounting
  • Manage challenges with Spa Biz
  • Liaison between spa and hotel (Guest services, In room dining, Connections etc.)
  • Troubleshoot problems with booking
Inventory and Retail Development

  • Submit inventory counts to Finance dept.
  • Professional and retail orders (goal 1x month)
  • Tracking of professional usage and retail movement
  • Product positioning, and promotion of product. (Internally and on website)
Group Bookings

  • Contact for groups larger than 4 people
  • Liaison with SWP on planning, scheduling of services.

Must Haves:


  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, able to multitask and act under pressure
  • Previous supervisory/management experience (at least 2 years). Preferably within a spa environment
  • Must possess good computer skills
  • Esthetician, RMT or body therapist training and education an asset
