    LUS Brands ("Love Ur Self") is a Toronto-based DTC (direct-to-consumer) hair care brand that's backed by Y Combinator, Sound Ventures, Comcast and other notable VCs and angel investors.

    The Senior Logistics Manager will oversee all logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, inventory management, and distribution, focusing on optimizing processes and driving efficiencies.

    They will be instrumental in expanding LUS Brands' channel distribution through logistics, ensuring timely product delivery while prioritizing cost efficiency and elevating the customer experience.

    Develop and execute comprehensive logistics strategies to support the company's omnichannel strategy.
    Continuously evaluate and refine logistics processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
    Manage the eCommerce platforms' daily operations and performance while coordinating with interfacing inventory systems.

    Evaluate inventory levels across the supply chain and all distribution channels (DTC, Amazon, Wholesale, Retail) and implement inventory optimization techniques to minimize stockouts and excess inventory.

    Develop forecasting models and inventory replenishment strategies to support demand fluctuations and seasonal trends.

    Manage and oversee all distribution aspects, including selecting and managing key logistics partners, such as carriers, 3PL providers, and suppliers.

    Negotiate contracts, monitor performance, and implement corrective actions as needed to ensure service levels are met.

    Oversee all logistical databases, employing advanced analytics combining diverse data sources to derive insights crucial for financial business decisions.

    Strategically process extensive data sets, conducting in-depth analyses to discern specific trends, patterns and discrepancies.

    Take the initiative and work independently with a "figure it out" attitude to learn the different aspects of the business and its data while challenging existing practices and developing innovative solutions.

    Develop and manage logistics budgets, ensuring cost-effective transportation, warehousing, and fulfillment solutions. Lead and mentor a team of logistics professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and professional development opportunities. Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement within the logistics organization.
    Implement quality control processes to ensure the accuracy and integrity of inbound and outbound shipments. Monitor product quality and compliance with regulatory requirements throughout the logistics process.
    Responsible for the regulatory side of logistics operations, including completing the necessary documentation.
    Manage all inventory and logistics-related reports, including weekly, monthly and year-end reporting.
    Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.

    Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive experience in logistics and supply chain management, with 3 years in a DTC or e-commerce environment.

    Experience working in the operational supply chain of an omnichannel business.
    Relationship management and negotiation with providers, including Major and local Carriers, 3PLs and other logistics providers.
    Expert PC skills (Particularly Excel) are required.
    Strong understanding of transportation modes, freight rates, and logistics technologies (e.g., Proven track record of driving operational excellence, cost savings, and process improvements in logistics operations.
    Strategic thinker who can develop and execute long-term logistics strategies aligned with business objectives.
