    Description
    Our client , a distributor of popular kitchen and bathroom plumbing products worldwide, is seeking a Supply Chain Planner.

    The Supply Chain Planner will act as a liaison between Planning/Customer Service/Distribution and Marketing to ensure success in the following areas: Customer event, promo and new product launch activities, service management, DC workload balancing and prioritization and Wholesale project product availability.

    Supply Chain Planner Details
    ~3 days (Tuesday-Thurs) in office, Monday-Friday WFH
    ~3 weeks, plus option to purchase a 4th.
    ~$Supply Chain Planner Qualifications
    3-5 years Inventory Planning experience
    Master scheduling experience is an asset.
    Experience in Consumer-Packaged Goods is an asset.
    2-3 years SAP experience with proficiency in several computer applications; Analysis for Office, Excel, Word, PowerPoint
    Demonstrated ability to perform analysis, determine root cause, and recommend improvements to prevent reoccurrence
    Supply Chain Planner What you'll be doing.
    Supply & Demand Planning - 65%

    supply planning function within SAP MRP and Orchestrate DDMRP tools, expedite product as required to maintain a 98% fill rate.

    Products – review demand/supply, ensure deletions (or partial discontinuations) are executed with minimal leftover inventory.
    historical POS, determine future forecast within SAP APO.
    planned promotional/project activity in APO/O8 to ensure incremental customer needs are met.

    in monthly collaboration meetings to discuss forecasts, resolve discrepancies between forward looking sales and end forecast and Attend weekly and bi-weekly customer collaboration meetings, review and resolve any customer issues/concerns as required.

    Procurement - 15%
    that purchase orders are created accurately and on time
    vendor performance, ensuring adherence to the agreed upon lead times
    Inventory Asset Management – 15%
    closely with Sales/Marketing, review over buffer inventory levels and identify corrective actions/reductions.
    and report inventory gaps as required.
    ad-hoc reports as required using Analysis for Office and SAP
