    Description

    The Senior Connectivity Account Manager will have a crucial role in advancing our mission to transform the travel industry with the help of technology (through our strategic software partnerships). In this position, your main responsibilities will include overseeing Expedia's primary lodging connectivity software providers. You will be in charge of a section of the partnerships portfolio, serving as a trusted advisor to the accounts within it. Your focus will be on enhancing programs, problem-solving, and establishing key relationships with customer organizations. Additionally, you will lead business performance initiatives, develop strategic growth plans, and potentially lead contract discussions. Sharing best practices among teams and regions will also be part of your duties.

    Qualifications:

    • 8+ years of experience with a Bachelor's degree
    • 6+ years of experience with a Master's degree
    • Proficiency in English and the local language of relevant markets
    • Exceptional communication skills
    • Demonstrated expertise in sales strategies
    • Strong understanding of contractual terms and their application to business relationships

    Responsibilities:

    • Identify key decision makers and stakeholders in customer organizations and cultivate strategic account relationships
    • Create opportunities to expand customer accounts and business relationships through activities like progress meetings and exploratory sessions
    • Understand customer business challenges and use internal resources to address their needs
    • Manage complex accounts by prioritizing tasks based on value and delegating appropriately
    • Secure customer commitment to achieve mutual business goals
    • Proactively address risks and potential obstacles to project success
    • Utilize organizational knowledge to drive projects that align with the company's mission
    • Apply advanced understanding of policies, trends, and customer information to plan and execute complex projects
    • Develop and present business cases for change based on thorough analysis
    • Ensure customer inquiries related to contract terms are addressed effectively
    • Partner with legal resources to explain complex contract terms and negotiate agreements
    • Influence others and negotiate agreements that create value for all parties
    • Customize solutions to meet specific customer needs
    • Use knowledge of competitors to make informed decisions
    • Build strong relationships with key influencers and external customers
    • Maintain a deep understanding of customer industries to provide effective solutions
    • Interpret data to ensure customer needs are met and value is recognized
    • Identify and present products and solutions that best suit the customer's needs
