    We are seeking an experienced IT Manager to join our team at Alexa Translations.

    The IT Manager will play a key role in overseeing our technology infrastructure and ensuring its security, efficiency, and compliance with industry standards and regulations.

    Reporting to the VP of Technology, the IT Manager will lead a talented team of IT professionals and collaborate with other departments to support the company's objectives.

    Oversee the maintenance, optimization, and upgrade of the company's technology infrastructure, including networks, servers, databases, and software systems.
    Ensure the availability, reliability, and performance of IT systems to support the company's operations.
    Lead and manage a team of IT professionals and a Support Team.
    Set goals, assign projects, and provide guidance and support to team members.
    Conduct performance evaluations and foster a collaborative and productive work environment.


    Information Security Management:
    Develop, implement, and maintain robust security measures to protect the company's sensitive data, systems, and networks.
    Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and mitigate potential threats.
    Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
    Develop and implement security incident management policy and process.
    Disaster Recovery and

    Business Continuity Planning:

    Develop and implement disaster recovery and business continuity plans to ensure the company can quickly recover from IT outages or disruptions.

    Serve as a liaison between the IT department and other departments within the company.
    Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. At least 5 years of experience in IT management, with a focus on information security and compliance. Experience working with international remote teams.
    Certifications in ITIL and CISSP would be an asset
    Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team of IT professionals.
    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address complex technical issues.
