    Description
    Alstar Group of Companies Ltd. has been providing quality construction services to the oil and gas industry since 1969.

    Located in Calgary and Leduc, with projects throughout Western Canada, we are a leader in the oil and gas industry for turn-key new construction, maintenance and prefabrication and modular construction services.

    Alstar Group is currently seeking experienced Material Coordinator to work at one of our Northeastern BC long-term field sites.

    Successful candidates will be responsible for receiving and coordinating materials for this site. If you are an expert in your field and are looking for the opportunity to join a team that promotes safety, personal growth and self-pride we'd love to hear from you

    Extended health care plan including medical, dental, vision and mental health services
    Experience in procurement and materials control and coordination roles, preferably in a construction environment is an asset
    Good computer skills
    Five years as parts technician or higher would be considered an asset
    Previous experience in pressure piping and fabrication considered an asset
    QC administrative experience considered an asset
    Where our projects are located:

    Our projects happen in 4 major sites in Western Canada, which include locations like Conklin AB, Grande Prairie AB, Whitecourt AB and Fort St.

    Alstar does provide a flat rate to cover travel.

    Coordination of materials for the job site
    Control and monitor daily changes to material needs to meet production due dates
