Job Summary
Selected individuals will be supporting the operations of a software system (Charles River Investment Management System) used by institutional investment portfolio managers and traders.Job Description
What'll you do?
Functional Support:
Support TradeOps in configuring Charles River system to support the trade life cycle
Properly set up new accounts and provide permissions accordingly (SQL script needed)
Set up accurate privileges of traders and portfolio managers in Charles River system
Provide ad-hoc report using SQL
Diagnosing user reported software UI issues (front end displays, data issue, etc)
Technical Support:
Handle level 2 escalations of overnight batch job failure (windows batch job + PCF/OCP4)
Investigate and resolve data issue by looking at automated batch job logic
Perform Database refresh in lower environments
Copy data from one database to another using MS SSMS
Resolve lower environment config issues (related to both vendor software and RBC codes)
Project Work:
Coordinate with stakeholders, see through project from DEV to PROD lifecycle. Build infrastructure when needed, perform system config and code release when needed.
Maintenance Task:
Document all system config (firewall rule, job logic, etc.)
Database archive
Disaster Recovery Exercise
NPID password reset
SRE Work:
Automation, self-healing, monitoring solutions
What will you need?
Must have:
Undergraduate degree in STEM/Economics/Finance
Working knowledge of: Windows Server, SQL (Microsoft SQL Server), Operating System Admin, Windows CMD commands
Proficient communication skills to be speak with none-IT person
Nice to have:
Mainframe JCL, ITIL foundation, Windows Batch scripting, UNIX shell scripting, PCF, OCP4, UCD, ServiceNow
