- Perform civil works coordination, inspections, and quantity measurement
- Check grades and elevations of newly installed infrastructure
- Monitor and coordinate contractor progress to ensure work is completed within construction schedule
- Check for compliance to plans and specifications
- Review and confirmation of monthly progress worksheets and measurements
- Maintain an as-built plan and communicate changes to Civil Team
- Follow up on deficiencies to ensure timely correction and completion of work
- Assure compliance with the project construction schedule and budgets
- Uphold the job-related safety regulations, policies, and procedures
- Ensure project materials and workmanship meet the project quality standards
- Use best efforts to resolve any scheduling challenges/disputes between on-site subcontractors and suppliers.
- High School Diploma/GED Completion
- Valid Driver's License, class 3 would be an asset
- Minimum 2 years of civil construction experience
- Minimum 2 years of experience overseeing project sites/civil crews is an asset
- Equipment operation is an asset
- Valid Class 5 Driver's License
- Understanding of methodology and terminology in the civil construction industry
- Proven ability to read and interpret blueprints and other construction drawings
- Working experience in earthworks and utility installation
- Results-focused with a proven track record of accomplishments in the construction field
- Ability to travel and work on various job sites at different territorial locations
