    POSITION SUMMARY

    The Technical Lead - Engineering Lead Bus Specialist will lead a team responsible for providing direct assistance on the production lines to address electrical engineering and programming issues identified during the electrical checkout process of online buses, specifically lead buses.

    WHAT YOU WILL DO:

    • Lead a team handling electrical engineering challenges across five production facilities.
    • Ensure the team follows the Engineering Lead Bus Specialist process, including accurate issue tracking.
    • Offer technical guidance to team members to assist in issue resolution.
    • Collaborate with production facilities management and personnel to align daily priorities, including participation in daily meetings.
    • Monitor the group's performance metrics to ensure timely issue resolution.
    • Assign and distribute tasks among team members to maintain balanced workloads and meet deadlines.
    • Oversee engineering tasks, particularly PLC programs.
    • Coordinate with suppliers to facilitate the resolution of technical issues related to vendor components.
    • Interact with customers to clarify requirements and communicate issue resolutions and timelines.
    • Train new employees on their responsibilities and the vehicle's electrical system.

    WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:

    Completion of an undergraduate degree or equivalent, preferably in Electrical/Computer Engineering or Electrical/Engineering Technology.

    A minimum of 5 years of relevant industry/technology experience is desirable.

    Knowledge of vehicle electrical systems.

    Prior experience in team management is advantageous.

    Strong communication and time management skills are essential.

    This role may involve up to 15% travel.
