    This role is focused on driving business results for Aviva and our brokers through digital marketing channels. The primary focus is digital marketing strategy and execution, for B2B and B2C audiences across Canada. Lines of business include both personal and commercial (business) insurance. Scope includes business/product specific initiatives, as well as awareness of the Aviva brand as a whole.

    The strategy and execution of digital marketing for Aviva's products is a growing business priority for Aviva. In this role, there is a lot of opportunity to grow our digital marketing capabilities to ensure we are driving awareness, consideration and engagement with our audiences.

    What you'll do

    Digital Expertise:

    Digital Marketing Strategy and Execution for Aviva and brokers including:

    • Paid CPM and CPC campaigns
    • Display advertising including programmatic and real-time bidding
    • Social
    • Remarketing
    • Mobile
    • Microsites/landing pages, including SEO, SEM and content planning
    • Email
    • Google and Bing PPC
    • A/B testing
    • Reporting and optimization

    Act as lead on all digital best practices, ensuring appropriate internal stakeholders are up-to-date and aware of trends.

    Stay up to date on latest digital trends and tools that would help drive Aviva business forward. Guide product and marketing leads in understanding and evaluating these opportunities.

    Stakeholder Management:

    Manage various internal stakeholders, particularly product leads and business development, in ensuring understanding and buy-in to proposed Aviva marketing strategies that will drive their business forward.

    Collaborate with marketing leads, creative (design and copy), legal, and IT/platform leads to plan and execute digital marketing campaigns and tactics.

    Executional Oversight:

    • Oversight of the day-to-day execution of digital marketing initiatives and campaigns. This includes oversight of creative execution, external agency partners, and ongoing monitoring of all in-market initiatives.
    • Digital Marketing Strategies and Proposals for various lines of business, in collaboration with Marketing Leads and Consultants.
    • Digital Campaign Plans, including channel strategies, audiences, messaging, and reporting.
    • Results and insights reporting, including campaign analytics, recommendations and optimization.

    What you'll bring

    • Minimum experience requirements including the number of years and type of experience within and outside Aviva.
    • Minimum 5-7 years B2B and B2C digital marketing experience, including strategy and execution. Preferably within the insurance industry. Financial services or other broker-focused industry will also be considered.
    • Experience in various digital marketing channels including, but not limited to, display, social, websites/landing pages, and email. Experience in developing digital channel and media strategies including messaging strategy, channel usage, budget allocation and reporting.
    • Experience collaborating with multiple stakeholders to gain alignment and execute initiatives and campaigns.
    • Experience managing outside agencies and vendors to execute digital marketing.
