- Manage the Preventive Maintenance program including continually optimizing the PM program, training operating staff and performing checks & inspections
- Work closely with Manufacturing Operators to troubleshoot process issues.
- Perform equipment repairs.
- Coordinate contractor services.

- Act as a trainer or mentor to new or cross trained staff.

- Minimum grade 12 education or equivalent
- Interprovincial Red Seal Millwright
- Interprovincial Red Seal Heavy Duty Mechanic, Machinist, Welder, or Electrician with transferable experience
- 2-5 years of experience within a manufacturing facility
- Troubleshooting and repairing pumps, cooling towers and water system
- Experience with overhead cranes and mobile equipment.
- Experience with heat treating, including inductions heaters.
- Understanding of electrical systems including PLC's
- Rebuilding of gearboxes, roll cases, fans and drive systems including alignments.
- Ability to perform maintenance welds and undertake small fabrication projects.
- Experience with flash butt welders, shot peening, and continuous rod and PCP manufacturing is considered an asset.
- Natural leadership skills; viewed as a positive influential leader within the team.
