    Labrador Fishermen's Union Shrimp Company Limited is a Canadian Controlled Private Corporation that is owned by the fishers of Southern Labrador. It is a vertically integrated seafood company with over five hundred employees and one hundred crew members on its fixed and mobile gear vessels. The Company has plants in five communities in Southern Labrador and has always focused on quality production combined with good working conditions. The Company is highly focused on the production of quality seafood products and at the same time providing maximum benefits to the region while maintaining profitable operations. It is one of the Province's leading seafood producers and in 2022 was recognized by the industry and was awarded the "Turning the Tide, Marine Industry Award for Industry Leadership and Excellence."

    The Logistics Coordinator will report directly to the Director of Marketing and Logistics, and be responsible for the following:

    · Plan and arrange trucking, ocean freight, import and export shipments.

    · Track and manage all shipments in transit.

    · Be responsible for issuing customs documents, certificates, and other delivery documents.

    · Assist and liaise with suppliers, customers, sales, quality assurance and management.

    · Other duties that may be assigned by the Director.

    Training and Experience:

    · Education and experience in supply chain coordination, specifically the Ocean Container and Trucking/Transportation industry (experience in the Seafood Industry would also be a valued asset).

    Compensation and working Conditions:

    · The successful candidate will be required to work in our St. John's, NL Marketing Office.

    · This is a full-time position.

    · Full medical and insurance plan.

    · The Salary package will be attractive and negotiable depending on the Candidate's training and level of experience commensurate with Company policy.
