- Load tools, set up and operate lathes.
- Program using Mastercam.
- Read shop drawings and meet appropriate tolerances.
- Assist with new part estimating.
- Work with QC to ensure accuracy of parts.
- Operate Mills when required.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area.
- Assist with set up or trouble shooting equipment for more junior employees.
- Experience in a Machine Shop setting up and operating CNC lathes.
- Experience programming using Mastercam.
- Red Seal or equivalent training and experience would be an asset
- Good communication skills.
- Attention to detail and care for quality.
- Be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Description
We are seeking an experienced CNC Machinist for our Coquitlam facility. This is a full-time position with the option to work 4 x 10 hour days, or 5 x 8 hour days, with flexible start times.The role requires programming, set up, and operating CNC lathes for production on high tolerance aluminum parts.
Responsibilities include:
Experience and Skills Required:
Wages: $36 to $40 depending on experience.
Health benefits will be offered after 3 months and eligibility to participate in the bonus program after 6 months.
